As part of its UNESCO application, Payerne Priory presents Cluny Abbey and the associated network of churches. The cluny exhibition #tousconnectés attaches particular importance to the Cluniac sites in Switzerland.
The Priory Museum is organising a major exhibition devoted to Cluny Abbey and its dense network of churches which extended across Europe during the Middle Ages. Particular attention is paid to the Swiss sites including not only Payerne but also Romainmôtier, Montcherand and Bursins. Oozing history, these places hold a great many interesting things to be discovered.
