Dive into the secrets of the Pérolles quarter.
ONLY in French and German
The game:
Through an exciting game of riddles, discover the Pérolles plateau. Town planning, architecture, industry, education: the Belle Époque shaped the present face of Fribourg.
"What's that? I'm picking up something on my detector! It looks like strands of memories... in suspension! They are all over Pérolles. The images look old, they must be memories from the beginning of the 20th century." Find out who these memories belong to and more importantly, why they are emerging now.
How it works:
Players must locate places in the Pérolles district thanks to clues delivered by an app on their phone. These places contain rifts filled with memories of people who lived in the early 20th century. These gaps take the form of a virtual reality fresco that the players will have to explore with their smartphone. These rifts are a source of valuable historical knowledge. By collecting information from them, the players will learn more about the characters and the history of the Boulevard de Pérolles.
This game was developed as part of the 125th anniversary of the Fribourg School of Engineering and Architecture (HEIA-FR) in 2021.
