This alpine hut with a strong reputation in the region of Charmey, high up on the Vounetz summit. Nature lovers can enjoy a meal.
Just 20 minutes from the top of the cable car, in the heart of a large network of hiking trails, you can enjoy the warmly decorated interior or admire the breathtaking view from the terrace during summer and winter.
The dishes are home-made and local. All the cheeses are made by Gérard Biland, the father of the new manager, Rémi. The menu card fits into the setting: typical with a touch of modern taste.
This alpine restaurant with service offers regional dishes served non-stop all day long. Fondue of the moment, penne du chalet flambé, entrecote served on a stove in herb butter, Malakoff, calf's liver röstis, artisanal planks can be enjoyed on the terrace with a glass of wine from a local winemaker, to give just a few examples.
For the summer season, the team has concocted a joyful programme. Enjoy a holiday camp feeling for all ages.
Hikers are invited to bring good shoes (or snowshoes) and a headlamp (if they are walking!)
