Come and discover how Gruyère AOP is made with wood fire at the Maison du Gruyère in Pringy!
From the moment the milk from the region's producers is put into a cauldron to the moment the cheeses come out after more than two hours, all the production phases are explained with passion.
This is also an opportunity to taste the whey, the curds and the tasty mild, medium and full-bodied Gruyère AOP cheeses.
Wood-fired cheese-making takes place every Sunday. It starts at 11.00 a.m. and finishes at 1.30 p.m.
The wood-fired Gruyère AOP cheese-making demonstration is free of charge.
If the temperature is too low, the demonstration may not take place. Cancellation will be announced by Saturday morning at the latest on www.lamaisondugruyere.ch.
