Discover the fascinating Grossmutterloch in the Gastlosen!
In winter, the Gastlosen reveal an extraordinary natural spectacle: the sun's rays fall through the Grossmutterloch. According to legend, this crevice is the work of the devil, who threw his grandmother into it in a fit of rage. Accompanied by a hiking guide, you embark on a 2-hour hike from the car park of the Gastlosen Express chairlift. Of course, it takes several factors to see this phenomenon. The hike itself already offers a marvellous panorama of the unmissable Gastlosen.
After the hike, you can visit the traditional Christmas market in Jaun, which takes place in the centre of the village. The market in Jaun consists of small stalls with handmade products and attracts many visitors every year.
