Exhibition by Marie Mourey
Marie Mourey hates black umbrellas and needs tonic colours, but the clarity of black illuminated by white - a chromatic revelator - attracts her. Her paintings are the expression of her desires, through gesture, instinct and the need to colour her world.
Marie Mourey's works are a reminder that the world we perceive is also an inner construction, a blend of objectivity and subjectivity.
