« Magie de l’Été »
Dietlinde Girard is a passionate painter whose art explores the beauty of nature, emotions and dreams. Her vibrant, dynamic pictorial universe combines vivid colours and spontaneity to offer a sensory journey where the real and the imaginary meet.
For this exhibition, entitled « Magie de l’Été » (Magic of Summer), she offers a luminous collection inspired by summer nature: bursts of flowers, reflections of water and poetic atmospheres. Her intuitive approach, using acrylic on canvas, gives rise to compositions with floral and landscape accents, leaving the viewer free to interpret.
Originally from Hanover (Germany), Dietlinde initially studied languages and translation, spending a few years in Paris before settling in Switzerland in 1986. Nothing, apart from a general interest in painting and sculpture, predestined her for an artistic career of her own. She began devoting herself to painting around 2010. Living in Attalens with her husband Olivier since 2022, she is presenting a selection of her works for the first time thanks to the opportunity offered by the Image-In Gallery in Châtel-St-Denis.
