As part of the De l'arbre au théorbe event, the Association Outre Mesure presents the family concert Le Rossignol et l'Empereur de Chine.
To celebrate the 500th instrument and 50th anniversary of Maurice Ottiger, the Outre Mesure Association is organising an exceptional weekend of festivities dedicated to Baroque music in the Veveyse region.
The ensemble La Rêveuse joins forces with Cécile Hurbault, a specialist in Asian shadow theatre, to revisit Le Rossignol et l'Empereur de Chine, a fairytale by Hans Christian Andersen published in 1843.
This musical and ecological creation takes a contemporary look at the relationship between man and animal. It contrasts descriptive 18th-century French character pieces inspired by birdsong with original compositions by Vincent Bouchot, specially written for this project.
With the ensemble La Rêveuse, Cécile Hurbault (puppets), Florence Bolton (bass and viola da gamba), Benjamin Perrot (theorbo and baroque guitar), Kôske Nozaki (flutes and bird flageolets), Benjamin Perrot (Direction)
