As part of the De l'arbre au théorbe event, the Association Outre Mesure presents a concert of Monteverdi's Madrigals.
To celebrate the 500th instrument and 50th anniversary of Maurice Ottiger, the Outre Mesure association is organising an exceptional weekend of festivities dedicated to baroque music in the Veveyse region.
The Capella Concertata ensemble, conducted by Yves Corboz, invites you on a journey to the heart of early music with a performance of madrigals by Claudio Monteverdi. These pieces, veritable gems of the Renaissance, combine poetry and musical expression. They illustrate a pivotal moment when polyphonic writing, inherited from the Renaissance, opened up to a more dramatic and contrasting expressiveness, heralding the beginnings of the Baroque.
Under the passionate direction of Yves Corboz, Capella Concertata brings these works to life with remarkable precision and sensitivity. The voices and instruments respond to each other, bringing to life the refined emotions and expressive intensity that permeate Monteverdi's music.
With the Capella Concertata ensemble, Jehanne Amzal (canto), Pilar Alva Martin (canto), Daniel Folqué (viola), Akinobu Ono (tenore), Cyril Escoffier (tenore), Davide Benetti (basso), Sonoko Asabuki (violino), Marguerite Wassermann (violino), Elizabeth Rumsey (violone), Matthias Spaeter (archiliuto), Romain Falik (tiorba), Yves Corboz (Direction)
