The Christmas Village takes place for the second time on the Place de l'Eglise throughout December.
Come and experience the magic of the Avenches Christmas Village from 1 to 22 December!
The heart of the old town will be offering an unprecedented welcome during this winter period, in a Christmas décor where chalets, Christmas trees, lights, a curling rink and the delicate flavours and scents of the season will delight the festive spirit and the palate of visitors.
Every evening, whether at the Christmas Village or the Advent Windows, share a convivial moment in the company of local companies or the people of Avenches.
Thanks to a partnership with ARPEJE (Association régionale pour l'enfance et la jeunesse), children's activities are also scheduled on Wednesday afternoons, as well as on certain Fridays and Saturdays in December.
The celebrations will kick off with music on Sunday 1 December 2024, with the BD's street band warming up the square.
And to round off this festive period in style, don't miss our Little Epicurean Market on Sunday 22 December 2024, where you can sample and find gourmet delights.
This year, a canopy will ensure the comfort of every visitor, whatever the weather conditions.
Entrance to the Village is free, giving you the chance to share some warm moments with family and friends over a glass of mulled wine, a game of curling or some live music.
Every day, there are surprises in store, and every night, the twinkling lights will remind you that Christmas is a time for sharing and joy.
