‘Gold pieces’ by Samuela Golda

The artist Samuela Golda is exhibiting her works from March 1 to 31 under the theme “Gold Pieces”.

As a gilder and barrel painter, she combines both techniques to give furniture, architectural elements and special objects a unique character.
All gilding work is individually tailored to your wishes and your work of art.
Depending on the project and the desired end result, she also works with other leaf metals in addition to real gold leaf.
She designs and refines the surface, be it a magnificent golden sheen, a modern matt look or a historical appearance, to match the object and create a harmonious overall artistic picture.

Samuela Golda was born in Upper Silesia and comes from a family of artists and church restorers.
She spent her childhood in the workshop and in churches.... between figures of saints, altars and antiques.
Infected by the special smells of the materials and old recipes for producing historical techniques, she fell in love with the profession.

Growing up in Germany, she began her training in the family business, attended the gilding school in Munich and gained experience in frame gilding and framing in Stuttgart.

In addition to gilding, restoration and framing, she devotes herself to painting.
She works mainly with natural materials such as chalk, pigments and animal glues.
She makes the canvases herself.
She works in watercolor, acrylic, oil, also on wood and uses historical gilding techniques.
