On 19 October 2024, the ‘Pflück dis Glück’ team closes the self-picking season with a so-called ‘Auspflückete’.
A carrier bag can be purchased at the entrance to our self-picking garden for CHF 10 per bag. This bag can then be filled with the produce you have picked yourself. The proceeds from this year's ‘Auspflückete’ will be donated to the ‘Schweizer Tafel’ foundation. Schweizer Tafel collects over 25 tonnes of perfectly good, surplus food from retailers, wholesalers and industry every day and distributes it free of charge to 500 social institutions such as homeless shelters, soup kitchens, emergency shelters and women's refuges.
The ‘Auspflückete’ starts at 11:00 and lasts until 16:00. Food and drink (offered) and a cosy get-together at the end of the self-picking season will be provided.
