A magnificent concert event to mark the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Annonciade choir!
Sa 4 November 8pm and Di 5 November 5pm at the Bicubic in Romont.
The show recounts the life of a character in the year of his 20th birthday, his enthusiasm for the world of music, his relationships and emotions, as well as memories of his childhood that are still close at hand. The story of the Annonciade is an underlying theme, but above all each group of children will play their own part, evolving as the show progresses. This large-scale project, combining singing and music, choreography and stage direction, is supervised by Annonciade director Fabien Volery, stage director Joëlle Dumas, assisted by Kim Ramos for the choreography, and accompanied on the piano by Olivier Magarotto.
The Annonciade, Maîtrise de la Glâne, was founded in 2002. The founding members, then successive committee members, were keen to provide musical and choral training for young people in the region, and today the Annonciade has 3 children's choirs for ages 4 to 15, plus a new youth choir for ages 16 to 25.
