The Ensemble Vocal Diverticantus is a young men's choir from Fribourg, and it will celebrate its fifth anniversary with concerts on February 7, 8, and 9, 2025.
In the first half, the ensemble will perform works by Poulenc and Schubert, showcasing some of the finest pieces in the male choir repertoire. In the second half, Vivaldi's famous Gloria and Magnificat will be performed with mixed voices, thanks to the participation of female friends. For this special occasion, the choir will be accompanied by an ad hoc orchestra and exceptional soloists, all of whom are either students or professionals. Altogether, no fewer than 57 young musicians will bring these classical masterpieces to life on stage!
