Chill solo piano. My instrumental world is inspired as much by contemporary neoclassical and new age masters such as Joep Beving, René Aubry, Ludovico Einaudi, Yann Tiersen, Riopy, or Sofiane Pamart as by Erik Satie or even Beethoven. My current repertoire includes my own compositions as well as works by Yann Tiersen, Joep Beving, Ludovico Einaudi, Caetano Veloso, Erik Satie, Marcello/Bach, Ennio Morricone, and Astor Piazzolla.
Immerse yourself in the captivating musical world of Irénée, a Swiss pianist and composer with an unconventional journey. At the age of 5, Irénée discovered the piano but gave it up during adolescence. It was only at the age of 56, during the 2020 lockdown, that he rediscovered the instrument with passion. While playing melodies for his loved ones and sharing them via WhatsApp, he was carried away by the magic of the notes. His unwavering determination led him to fully dedicate himself to the art, practicing tirelessly every day. Today, Irénée inspires new talents at “Cours de piano Irénée,” founded in 2022, where he shares a sensitive and intuitive approach to music with around fifteen students. Recently, Irénée also began sharing his love of music with beginners in a brass band in the Bulle region. For this, he had to start learning the cornet.
