Maco chante Renaud is over thirty songs by Renaud, reinterpreted in a rock chanson style with guitar, bass, and drums. The repertoire stays true to the original versions, covering the various periods of the iconic singer with cowboy boots and a red bandana.
Artists’ biography:
The band was formed in 2023 for a one-time performance at the Caravane Tour Festival, around Marc Descloux and several musicians from the region. Given the great success of the concert, they decided to continue the experience with one show in 2023, then twelve more in 2024—and the adventure continues. The group is composed of Marc Descloux on vocals and guitar, Christian Rhême on drums and small piano, and Pierre Spozio on electric bass and backing vocals. From time to time, depending on encounters, other musicians join them to add a special touch to Renaud’s songs.
