Sebastian Haas. (Im)permanence
The upcoming exhibition in the Salle des Baillis is dedicated to the artist Sebastian Haas (*1992), who has attracted attention with his abstract reverse glass paintings. His work is based on reflections on the material properties of glass (reflection, transparency, fragility, malleability) and questions the transience and permanence of appearance and perception.
Multiple Swiss scholarship holder and prizewinner Sebastian Haas devotes his time to working in his studio in Bern and teaching at various art and design schools. Since 2018, he has exhibited regularly in museums and galleries in Switzerland and abroad (South Korea, Germany, France, Italy).
