The exhibition RESOLVED presents glass artworks by artists from the Verarte association: Françoise Bolli, Roland Breitschmid, Hubert Crevoisier, Jean-Pierre Demierre, Isabelle Fontannaz, Daniel Gaemperle, Sabine Gysin, Priska Jacobs, Bernd Kniel, Marie-Eve Perez, Erna Piechna-Sowersby, Noëmi Rehberg, Christoph Stooss, Veronika Suter, Helena Ťapajnová, Andreas Vetterli, and Thomas Woodtli.
The exhibition seeks to explore how artists approach the notion of tension through the medium of glass — a material that is intrinsically fragile and tense — and the human resonance this tension evokes. While “tension” is often perceived negatively, it can also be a force that fosters adaptability and transformation. This exhibition captures those moments when tension is palpable, though unresolved, held in a delicate balance — embodying both the anxiety of what may come and the will to face new challenges. Without tension, there is no release, no peace, no catharsis.
