The Alpine wrestling festival will take place on Sunday, June 22, 2025 in a magnificent setting
The Wrestling Festival is the only mountain wrestling event in south-western Switzerland with the right to crowns. This wrestling festival is organized by the two wrestling clubs Sense and Fribourg. In addition to attractive wrestling, the spectators are also offered folklore. You can also test your strength in stone throwing.
There will be 90 wrestlers competing, including 30 guest wrestlers from the North-East Swiss Wrestling Association, 30 from the Bernese Cantonal Wrestling Association and 30 from the South-West Swiss Wrestling Association. That promises a lot of excitement.
Advance sales for grandstand seats will begin in April 2025 (the exact date will be announced later) at Schwarzsee Tourismus.
