Concert-show
When Heaven and Hell decide to settle their scores, trouble begins right here on Earth!
Tired of bickering since the dawn of time, God and Lucifer send an angel and a demon down to Earth to settle their eternal dispute. Their mission: to face a series of challenges and discover which side truly deserves to rule our planet.
But between humans, their emotions, their sometimes baffling habits and the absurdities of everyday life, our two visitors from the afterlife soon discover that life on Earth is far more complicated than they ever imagined.
Misunderstandings, outrageous situations, playful digs at modern society and a generous dose of self-mockery: angels, demons and humans alike are hilariously put through the wringer.
Brought to life by the choir, Au Diable le paradis is a delightfully humorous musical show in which Heaven and Hell take a closer look at our wonderfully strange world… and absolutely no one is spared.
A Musical Journey Without Borders
From the rich choral heritage of Fribourg to the songs of South Africa, from Jacques Brel to the maritime traditions of New Zealand, and through contemporary choral music from Switzerland and the United States, the show brings together musical styles, languages and eras.
This eclectic repertoire is complemented by an original composition by Gonzague Monney, written especially for the show.
