2nd-hand toy fair
Kiwanis Freiburg Cité is organizing the fifth edition of its Toy Exchange (Bourse aux Jouets / Spielzeugbörse). The event is open to everyone and invites families to donate, take, or exchange used toys and children’s sports equipment free of charge.
For this fifth edition, Kiwanis Freiburg Cité is once again counting on the generosity of families from the region. We already encourage everyone to set aside toys and children’s sports equipment in good condition that are no longer being used, so they can bring joy to other children.
These items may be brought to the Workshop on Friday, November 27, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., or on Saturday morning, November 28, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m.
The Toy Exchange will open its doors on Saturday, November 28, at 9:00 a.m. and continue until 4:00 p.m. To make the day enjoyable and convivial, the Family Support Association (AEF) will offer various activities (www.educationfamiliale.ch). For the occasion, the association will host an activity entitled “Be Creative and Play”: 1, 2, 3… Scissors! — a creative space where children and adults alike can cut, glue, and draw using recycled materials. Everyone will be free to unleash their imagination and take their handmade creations home afterward.
Light refreshments will also be available on site. Donations and any proceeds from the event will go to the Family Support Association (AEF).
