Formed in 2014, hubris. is an instrumental post-rock band from Fribourg. With its style originally blending electronic atmosphere, influences from progressive and metal scenes, hubris. invites you on a suspended and introspective journey. The band also stands out for its compositions that combine softness and power, atmospheric sounds and raw energy. Inspired by artists like Woodkid, Jon Hopkins, or The Contortionist, hubris. fully asserts its identity with its second album, Apocryphal Gravity (2017), acclaimed by critics.
After touring the United States, China, and India with their various albums, the Fribourgeois will return to Fri-Son, where they have already performed twice, to celebrate the release of their fifth album, three years after The One Above !
On stage, hubris. promises a performance that is as intense as it is hypnotic. The band transcends the codes of post-rock by merging progressive energy, electronic pulsations, and organic power in a live show that is as visceral as it is captivating. An immersive experience to be lived with closed eyes, carried by the vibrations, contrasts, and emotions of the four musicians.
