Photographic exhibition at L'Atelier
On the occasion of the Swiss Cheese Awards, the Cultural Service of the City of Fribourg and the Association for Professional and Artistic Photography from Fribourg (PPAF) launched a call for projects inviting photographers to take an original look at the world of cheese.
The projects of three Fribourg photographers have been selected to participate in a temporary exhibition. Adrien Perritaz, Etienne Francey and Maël Dupraz Nayak each deliver a personal vision of this emblem of our heritage. Their sensitive, contemporary and complementary approaches explore the multiple dimensions of cheese: its material, textures, gestures, environment, imagination, and cultural significance.
These three approaches testify to the richness of the photographic medium and its ability to provide a fresh perspective on a subject deeply rooted in the Fribourg territory. They invite visitors to discover, behind a familiar product, an artistic experimentation ground where creation, heritage, and the author’s gaze intersect.
The exhibition can be discovered at L’Atelier from 7 to 31 October 2026, in parallel with this major national cheese event.
