Originally from São Paulo and now based in New York, Sessa, whose real name is Sergio Sayeg, effortlessly and fluidly mixes musical references, from rock to jazz, through samba and soul.
With his new album Pequena Vertigem de Amor (Little Vertigo of Love), released in November 2025, the artist expands the luminous and poetic universe he has been building since his debut in 2019, while maintaining his signature sound: acoustic guitar, Afro-Brazilian percussion, and a dialogue between his unique voice and female choirs. In this album, recorded over the course of a year in the studio he co-founded, the lyrics celebrate fatherhood and weave a delicate balance between intimate confessions and serene reflections on the transformations of life.
At Fri-Son, the artist will offer an intimate journey into the Brazilian sounds of the late 70s intertwined with psychedelic soul, a dive into his luminous universe. An evening suspended, where each note tells a story.
