Competition
The School of Engineering and Architecture of Fribourg is hosting an unprecedented steel bridge building contest: the Student Steel Bridge Competition. Throughout the day, civil engineering students and metal construction apprentices will take on a major challenge: designing and fabricating six-meter steel bridges as quickly as possible, capable of supporting up to 600 kg. The general public is invited to admire this technical feat at Place Georges-Python in Fribourg.
