2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship 
A space dedicated to the evolution of Fribourg's firefighting equipment, for history and rescue enthusiasts.
Located in Fribourg's historic La Neuveville district, the Galetas des Pompiers is an unusual museum housing a collection of vehicles, equipment and memorabilia dating back over two centuries. Housed in a former pump shed, this space invites visitors into the world of the firefighters of yesteryear. Guided by enthusiasts from the Friends of the Galetas, visitors explore the technical evolution and traditions of the profession, with immersive displays that revive the spirit of the old barracks.
