Notebook in hand, pencil raised, allow yourself to be surprised by the alleyways, bridges and façades of a unique city.
Urban sketching invites you to explore Fribourg with a fresh perspective: observe, feel, and then draw. Between the Gothic cathedral, medieval fortifications, fountains, and viewpoints over the Sarine, the city offers an exceptional source of inspiration at every turn of its alleys.
Accessible from the age of 13, this workshop combines heritage discovery, conviviality, and a sensitive approach to drawing. It is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the identity of Fribourg, a city at the crossroads of the Romande and Alemannic cultures, with a rich historical heritage and striking landscapes.
Your guide
Roxana, trained as an architect, has learned to discover places through drawing—taking the time to read their history, details, and atmosphere. For her, urban sketching is primarily a human experience: a meeting with people, anecdotes, and the soul of a place. She takes you through the streets of Fribourg with the same curiosity that guides her travels.
