Place for cultural events
The City of Fribourg operates a historic building at Place de Notre-Dame 16, known as L'Atelier. The building is accessible to the general public through space rental and specific cultural programming supported by Labo urbain. Part of the space is also used for administrative purposes. Individuals or associations can organize various events (conferences, cultural events, etc.) in this architectural jewel of the Zaehringen town.
The Labo urbain, a tool of the Service de la culture, supports creative dialogue and the sharing of experiences. It is also attentive to the needs of the cultural community and keeps L'Atelier's premises alive by promoting its place within the Bourg district.
Numerous opportunities for exchange are open to the public and free of charge: collaborative projects, mediation sessions, discussions, exhibitions, artistic residencies and much more.
Building opening hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Opening times may vary according to events taking place at L'Atelier.
