Join the top of the tower of the cathedral and discover not only the beautiful panorama but also the artistic information boards.
The top of the St. Nicolas cathedral has 10 panels created by the artist fribourgeois Frédéric Aeby.
Instead of being limited to mere geographical and historical explanations, the panorama wants to add a layer of information on local habits and customs of the Fribourg peculiarities. The artist Frédéric Aeby tried to capture the Fribourg soul with humor and poetry.
The project was realized with the participation of Fribourg Tourism, the Parish and Chapter St. Nicholas and the State of Fribourg.
