Guided tour of the Manoir de Givisiez and its Chemin du Travail
Fribourg Tourisme has teamed up with the Manoir de Givisiez to offer a multi-themed tour. The tour will first tell you about the exceptional heritage of this 16th-century building, its context and its history. You will then stroll through the magnificent garden, before discovering the “Chemin du Travail”. Here, the visit becomes a cultural one, with 10 works of art, created by Fribourg artists. Each of these sculptures tells its own story, set against a backdrop of rejuvenating greenery. The tour ends with a return visit. Here, you will learn more about the institution's projects, including technology for Alzheimer's patients. To round off your visit, enjoy a drink in the Manoir's cafeteria, where you can take in the serenity of the setting.
