Getting to Fribourg easily
Accessible by public transport as well as by car, the city of Fribourg is ideally located in Switzerland, on the rail and motorway axes.
By car, the “Fribourg-Nord” exit of the A12 freeway is ideal for getting to the historic center.
By train, Fribourg station is served by the Intercity line St. Gallen – Zurich (airport) – Bern – Fribourg – Lausanne – Geneva (airport). From the station, buses serve the canton and the different parts of the city.
Opt for parking on the outskirts of the city during the day and avoid the traffic downtown.
