Anna Orlik and Constantin Macherel are winners of international competitions and studied at prestigious institutions: the Royal Academy of Music London and the International Menuhin Academy in the class of Maxim Vengerov and Maurice Hasson (Anna), and the Music Academy Basel and the Zurcher Hochschule der Kunste in the class of Ivan Monighetti and Raphael Wallfisch (Constantin).
Anna has performed as soloist in prestigious concert halls and festivals: Victoria Hall, Auditorio Santa Ursula Lima (Peru), Menuhin Forum Bern, Gstaad Menuhin Festival, Crans Montana Classics, Rosey concert Hall etc.
Constantin's first CD ("Virtuoso music for cello", Claves records) as soloist with the London Mozart Players was awarded the "5 Diapasons" in 2019 and has received international critical acclaim, with its recording being broadcast on Europe's leading radio stations.
The second CD features works from the twentieth century, including Ravel's sonata for violin and cello, and was described by Opus Klassiek as 'A jewel in every respect, easily in the top segment'.
Anna and Constantin are founding members of the "Léman Virtuosi" ensemble, and perform regularly with their "Violincello" duo.
