The Dance Festival is held each year in Fribourg and all over Switzerland beginning of May. Hip Hop, Tango, contemporary dance or folk dances... join the party and choose your style!
The Dance Festival is an opportunity to dance all together in theaters, cultural centers and in public places. This party was created in Zürich in 2006 and since became a unique event of national reach.
19 cities of Switzerland and a city of France contribute to celebrate the dance under all its forms: with shows, performances in the public place and more than 600 dancing lessons both for beginners and for confirmed dancers.
The Dance Party in Fribourg is a project of Reso - Réseau Danse Suisse in association with Action-Danse Fribourg, ADIQA, Café de l'Ancienne Gare, University Movie-Club, Fri-Son, Nouveau Monde, RadioFr. and dancing schools and regional artists.
The Dance Day pass costs CHF 15 (till 16 years free) available from April . This pass allows the access to all dance courses and most events of the involved cities and regions.
To support the festival, you can buy the pass "Soutien" for CHF 25.
Pass available from April at Fribourg Tourism.
In Fribourg the Festival pass gives the entry to all proposed activities.
