Fribourg celebrated in 2017 the centenary of the presence of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry at the Villa Saint-Jean in Fribourg. Fribourg Tourisme participated in this celebrations of the 100th anniversary by publishing a comic strip.
From 1915 to 1917, Fribourg housed an illustrious man, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry who marked the 20th century.
This comic strip is first of all a testimony of the passage of this brilliant man in our city. Fribourg is proud of it and Fribourg Tourism could not miss the event without marking it!
Thus, this brief collection presents Fribourg seen by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, at the beginning of the 20th century, and indicates on a plan the places referenced in the book. The visitor will be able to discover the city, in the footsteps of the author of the Little Prince.
A guided tour on the theme of "the discovery of the city through the eyes of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry" is as well proposed for groups.
Comic strip is illustrated by Ludo Hartmann and scripted by the Historian Alain-Jacques Tornare.
