Carole Jeanneret has been a qualified restorer specializing in graphic arts since 2013. After a master's degree at the École de Condé in Paris, she specialized in the restoration of antique books and obtained a Certificat d'Aptitude Professionnelle in bookbinding in Paris in 2014.
She also deepened her knowledge by working at the Centre Interrégional de Conservation du Livre in Arles, the Bibliothèque Municipale de Lyon and a bookbinding workshop in Orléans. She compared the restoration techniques acquired during her studies with those practiced abroad while working at the Bibliothèque Cantonale de Barcelone in Spain.
In September 2014, she opened her workshop for the conservation and restoration of antique books in Lyon, in collaboration with a ceramic restorer, entitled "Atelier le Verbe et l'Objet" until March 2016. From March 2016, she will inaugurate her new workshop in Fribourg, entitled "A livre ouvert".
From 2020 to 2024, Carole Jeanneret will dedicate 40% of her time to restoration.
