The Musée des Chemins de Fer du Kaeserberg in Granges-Paccot features a fascinating miniature rail network that plunges visitors into a world inspired by Switzerland in the 1990s. With 300 locomotives, 1,650 wagons and 6,500 characters, the detailed scenes capture the daily life of the era. Four railroad lines, incorporating the SBB (Swiss Federal Railways), the RhB (Rhaetian Railway) and the KBB (Kaeserbergbahn), cover a circuit of 2,045 meters of track.
The museum also offers interactive experiences, allowing visitors to drive a locomotive using a simulator. The offer includes a 40-minute experience for CHF 50 and a 3-hour initiation for CHF 485, including a tour of the network for accompanying persons.
