You are interested in the constellations, the Moon and the planets? Then do not hesitate to participate in the commented observations through telescopes of the Observatory of Ependes.
The astronomical Observatory of Ependes is located a few kilometers away from the city of Fribourg, in the countryside, at 700 m of height. The Observatory is managed by a foundation with non-lucrative purpose, the Robert A Naef A foundation.
The animation and the maintenance are made by the Association of the Friends of the Observatory of Ependes. Thanks to its ideal situation near the fribourgeoise urban area and to approximately 20 km of Bulle, the Observatory welcomes the public free of charge every Friday evening and contributes to form the skills of the youth and the population in the field of the astronomy.
On request visits for groups are organized on Wednesdays or Saturdays evening, with or without observation.
