Jorge Cardoso is of Portuguese origin and has won the world championship title twice: in 2018 and in 2022 at the Culinary World Cup where he represented Switzerland.
Since he was a little boy, Jorge Cardoso has been immersed in the world of food having a father who is a cook and a mother who is a pastry chef.
World Champion in 2018 and in 2022, he is one of the most medal-winning people in Switzerland.
After having been world champion in artistic sculpture in 2018 et 2022, having created a sculpture of the footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, the master chocolatier has set himself a new challenge : the creation of a life-size sculpture of the great tennis champion, Roger Federer. This chocolate sculpture, measuring 1.85m and weighing over 100kg, is the first work of the Swiss sportsman on such a scale, taking almost 250 hours of work, meticulously studied to make it as realistic as possible.
We have the honour and the immense pleasure to present to the general public, this sumptuous artistic work is presented in the shop of the street of Lausanne in order to pay homage to one of the greatest athlete of our era.
In his store in the Rue de Lausanne, you can find high quality pralines reflecting his love for his profession and the selective choice of raw materials. The goal is not to make only traditional confectionery, but to bring a touch of novelty, sweetness and discovery to the customers.
The chocolate industry in Switzerland is a symbol of pleasure, sharing, celebration and conviviality. Chocolate has accompanied the history of our country for centuries and is part of our heritage and culinary traditions.
In any celebration, in any event; birthday, wedding, mother's/father's day, Easter. Confectionery has always accompanied the young and old alike, and has always been the companion of sweet gourmands.
