Since October 15th, 2016, you can finally shop differently. Atout Vrac offers a wide range of bulk foodstuff as well as cleaning and hygiene items – all without packaging! Born from the citizen movement “Fribourg Demain,” our goal is to reduce unnecessary waste and food spoilage through a zero‑packaging grocery store. Change starts now, and it begins together!
Atout Vrac prioritizes local products, meaning sourced from the Fribourg region. We focus on quality foods, predominantly organic—but our primary aim is reducing carbon footprint, not just organic certification. We’d rather partner with regional producers than import organic goods from afar. And we carefully select environmentally conscious suppliers.
