Presentation
Lea Egli and Reto Fivian built their farm together. Today, the Bergerie de Chandossel is home to 310 sheep, including 260 Engadine sheep, a breed that is currently endangered. The 40 hectares of pastureland at their disposal are farmed according to Bio Suisse guidelines. Since 2016, most of their flock spends the summer in the mountains.
Thanks to their studies in agronomy, extensive experience, and many years of professional work with the advisory and health service for small ruminants, they care for their sheep using the latest knowledge. They are convinced that their animals live a good life, suited to their needs, right up to slaughter.
