Presentation
Serge Gremaud completed his butcher apprenticeship at the Boucherie de Marsens from 1984 to 1987. Afterward, he worked as an employee at Boucherie Limat in Neyruz to acquire additional skills in a new professional environment. He then completed his military service and spent several years working at Marché Biolley.
Building on these experiences, he decided to take over a long-established butcher shop and launched his own business at the age of 24. After renovating the premises, he opened Boucherie – Abattoir Serge Gremaud in 1993. Today, he works with a team of around 10 employees.
The butcher shop is located in Farvagny-le-Grand, a picturesque village between Bulle and Fribourg.
Focusing on product quality, Serge Gremaud ensures that all meats come from livestock raised by regional farmers (mainly from the canton of Fribourg). Furthermore, all the meat he offers comes from his own slaughterhouse, which adds even greater value to the already high quality of the products.
