Introduction
On August 1, 2006, Gérald Saudan and Margrit Saudan opened La Boulangerie Saudan in Fribourg. These two dedicated and hardworking professionals quickly gained a foothold in the market, combining their expertise and values to earn the prestigious Swiss Bakery Trophy in 2012.
Mr. Saudan is a skilled baker, pastry chef, confectioner, ice cream maker, and chocolatier. He was named runner-up at the European Bakery Championship in 2002 and placed 4th at the World Championships.
Mrs. Margrit Saudan is an expert pastry chef and confectioner, with solid experience in decoration and chocolate work.
