Presentation
For Alain Morand, co-founder of the Brasserie Artisanale de Fribourg, it all began in the early 1990s with the idea of opening a small student bar with a group of friends. The project quickly became a great success. Year after year, the small brewery grew, increasing its production from 18,000 liters in 2008 to 40,000 liters in 2010. Now well established, the Brasserie Artisanale de Fribourg supplies around thirty restaurants in the canton, primarily in Fribourg and its immediate surroundings, in order to ensure product quality.
