Presentation
The story of Domaine Chervet began around 1820, with the passing down of know-how from father to son over five generations.
Constant innovation is an integral part of the family spirit: mechanizing the heaviest vineyard tasks (1930), planting the first specialty grape varieties in Vully (1951), or enhancing vineyard plots through the creation of terraces and stone walls.
In 1972, the wine cellar was rebuilt by Louis Chervet (4th generation). Since then, the wines have been vinified using the most modern knowledge while preserving certain traditional methods, such as aging on lees or maturing red wines in wooden barrels.
In the 1990s, Jean-Daniel and Franziska Chervet took over the estate and have continued to carry on this family legacy.
It is the perfect blend of tradition and technology that allows for the continuous improvement of the wines' quality.
In this way, the wines retain their natural and distinctive character from one vintage to the next.
Today, the estate covers 15 hectares, planted with 70% white grape varieties and 30% red.
