Presentation
Since 2006, Louis-Alexandre Yerly manages the Fromagerie/Käserei Friseneit together with his wife Virginie and their son Baptiste. In 2023, the old cheese dairy, having become obsolete after more than 35 years of service, was destroyed and replaced by a brand new cheese dairy.
Currently, 15 milk producers deliver each year 3 million kilos of milk with which Louis-Alexandre Yerly and the whole team make Gruyère AOP and Vacherin Fribourgeois AOP, delivered respectively to Fromage Gruyère SA and Vacherin Fribourgeois SA.
As well as various specialties including the Raclette “Friseneit”.
