Presentation
The only Fribourg vineyard located on the southern shore of Lake Neuchâtel, it benefits from a highly favourable microclimate and extends over the villages of Cheyres, Châbles and Font. The adjoining nature reserve is distinguished by its high vertical molasse cliffs overlooking the marshes. The Crottes de Cheyres (not the caves, as confusion is inevitable), the cliffs running along the edge of the region, also protect the vines from the wind. Finally, the proximity of the lake guarantees a certain mildness in winter.
The winery, built in 1999, is modern and meets all the current requirements for quality production. The tasting room is welcoming and popular, and awaits your visit during opening hours, or by appointment for groups. The cellar master will be delighted to introduce you to our various products.
