Presentation
Do you remember those children’s stories where the main character, lost or distressed, discovers a magical and comforting place? Here, it’s your turn to go on an adventure. Whispers and word of mouth lead travelers to this hidden gem. The Gîte is nestled in a green haven, and only the initiated know which path to follow. A herd of deer awaits your arrival. The majestic stag rules over the estate. Before entering, you're struck by the breathtaking and mysterious view of Rue Castle and the surrounding plains. Nature and forest dominate the senses. Inside, it immediately feels familiar and welcoming. The Gîte has been a family story for decades, and tradition is honored.
Dining
The adventure continues in the kitchen and at the table! The young chef, Richard, is in his element. His relaxed spirit is reflected in the menus. On the menu: two starters, two mains, and two desserts that change every two weeks. The ingredients are mostly sourced from the garden, from the farm “Au Lopin” in Villaranon, the shop “Au Bocal du Coin” in Romont, the butcher shop “Sutter Viande” in Villeneuve, the butcher “Currat” in Ursy, the shop “Jambon d’Or” in Prez-vers-Siviriez, fresh eggs and rapeseed oil from Joël Charrière in Blessens, and more. You also have the possibility to rent out the various dining rooms for private use.
