Presentation
Jacques Bossy, owner of the Gottéron fish farm since 2007, watches over his 25 basins as carefully as one would watch milk on the stove. From the fry housed in indoor tanks to the adult trout ready for sale, the rearing process involves a series of carefully monitored steps and constant care. It takes about two and a half years for a trout to reach its ideal weight of 280 to 300 grams. The fish farm also contributes to the tourism offerings in the Gottéron Valley by providing fishing ponds where visitors can enjoy trout fishing at their leisure.
