Le Pressoir des Trois-Lacs is located at the foot of Mont Vully, in Switzerland’s beautiful “Three Lakes” region—a key area for viticulture and fruit growing in the canton of Fribourg. Overlooking Lakes Murten, Neuchâtel, and Biel, the Guilland family has been operating a custom fruit press since 2005. By purchasing fruit from local owners (from the Fribourg districts of Lac and Broye, the Broye region in Vaud, the Neuchâtel lakeshore, and the Bernese Seeland), they press fruit for clients (70%) and use part of it to make their own apple juice (30%). The pressing season runs from late August to mid-November. The family farm also keeps 90 dairy cows.
