Unfiltered, untreated, and without additives — this is how Beat Gauch, an experienced farmer based in Tafers, prepares and sells his rapeseed oil.

Indeed, through his farm, he is always striving to improve the quality of the products that the land provides. After harvesting the rapeseed, it must be dried, stored, and cleaned.

Special attention is given to the storage and harvesting stages, which he believes are often underestimated despite being fundamental.

The juice from the rapeseed pods is extracted using a press that this passionate farmer had custom-built in his barn. In his workshop, Beat not only extracts the rapeseed oil but also handles the bottling of his precious product.
